Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is the most significant organization for recruitment in government offices and departments. It conducts the Combined Higher Secondary Level Exam for hiring candidates under the following posts:
- Postal Assistant or Sorting Assistant
- Lower Division Clerk (LDC)
- Data Entry Operator (DEO)
- Court Clerk
SSC CGL:
Staff Selection Commission – Combined Graduate Level (SSC CGL) is one of the most popular exams given by the students after the completion of their graduation.
The exam is conducted for the recruitment of staffs for different posts in government departments and organizations. It offers employment to many candidates by recruiting them in various reputed jobs.
The exam pattern consists of four sections –
- General Intelligence and Reasoning
- General Awareness
- Quantitative Aptitude
- English Comprehension
SSC MTS Selection Process:
You need to appear for Paper 1 and Paper 2 to be eligible for the selection of Staff Selection Commission Multi Tasking Exam (SSC MTS).
Paper 1: Preliminary test – objective type:
- Section 1: General Intelligence and Reasoning
- Section 2: Numerical Aptitude
- Section 3: General English
- Section 4: General Awareness
Paper 2: descriptive type
candidates need to write a letter or short essay either in English or in one of the languages which are a part of the 8th schedule of the constitution.
Paper 2 qualifying marks as well as the cut-off for SSC MTS Paper 1 may differ from state to state. This happens at the sole discretion of the SSC Staff Selection Commission. Paper 1 performance becomes the primary criteria of selection, if candidates meet the Paper 2 qualification criteria.
